Thanks to that project,  historical  building in Forest Division Wymiarki  was renovated , as well as the place for organising of foresters meeting  was created.

Moreover, although the project has been already completed, the cross-border cooperation continues.  Periodical meetings concerning particularly forest and fire protection  are regularly hold.

The second partner of Saxon forests is The Forests of Bautzen County (German name: Landratsamt Bautzen Kreisforstamt). Within the joint project , there are implemented  actions involving fire protection "Creation and Arrangement of Information Boards on Fire Hazard in the Forests" (German name: „Anfertigung und Aufstellung von Informationstafeln über die Waldbrandgefahr") and promotion of cooperation („Promotion of Cross-border Cooperation of RDLP in Zielona Góra and  The Forests of Bautzen County"). The foresters from these institutions take active part in periodical meetings.

Particular Forest Divisions enter into working communications with German forests.  The result of these contacts are interesting cross-border projects  co-financed from the European Union resources. (Subsidy)
